Letter from the President

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we at the Bint Jebail Cultural Center(BJCC) are honored to have serviced this great community the past twenty years. We are extremely proud of our heritage and all the generations that have immigrated from Bint Jebail, Lebanon to this great United States of America. The BJCC was founded on the strength of hard working principled men and women to integrate homeland characteristics with that of the western society. We remain committed to the vision of our founder, Mohammed J. Turfe, by providing the Arab American community with cultural and religious programs and a variety of other activities and events offered over the past 20 years.

Our beautiful banquet facility, entrusted in the care of Chef Habib Bazzi, offers a great venue for all occasions. Chef Habib’s food and service presentations are among the best around. With many thanks to our members, generous sponsors, and community members, we have been able to deliver approximately one thousand scholarships of $500.00 Dollars each, to High School students. We are also proud of our charitable contributions to all people and organizations in need. Our members deserve all the credit for contributing and dedicating their hard work, time and effort exhorted over the past twenty years. Without their sacrifices, we would not have grown to the position we are in today.

David Turfe
